Dearest Ladies and Gentlemen of the Blogging world,
Another week has come and gone down here in El Paso. I know that I use that phrase a lot, but time flies when you are working hard and having fun. Also, I would like to thank all of you that have sent letters, emails, or packages. I love hearing from all of you, and I am grateful for all of your love and support. :)
Things down here in the University Ward are going quite excellent. One of our investigators IS getting baptized this Saturday, and it has been a blur this week trying to get everything that we need together for that :) Also on Monday night, we had an interesting lesson. One of our investigators called us up and asked us to come by. And so we did, and as it turns out, he was super drunk while we were over. And so we retaught the restoration to him while he had a rum glass in his hand. He also vented to us about his now EX- girlfriend (that we are teaching) and was telling us all of the unpleasant nuances of their relationship... moral of the story: I am grateful for the Law of Chastity and the Word of Wisdom.
Anywho, we've been teaching a lot (like 10 investigator lessons a week), and life is going well :) Elder Allen is continuing to be awesome--we do goofy things, and we work hard. It's great!
Thanks for reading :)
Elder Jacob Guymon
