It's been another week
and things are good down here in Albuquerque :) So we have some transfer
news... Nothing is changing for us! Elder Summers and I will be staying
together here in Albuquerque. Woohoo! :) I like him, and we are doing
some good work. We are excited for what the future holds in this
area. :)
Hmmm...oh!...an update about the two boys with a baptismal date. They talked with their mom, and she said that they were all right to be baptized but just not this week. She was going to talk with them, and hopefully we could figure out something for a baptismal date....
Other than that we had a good week. We taught 17 lessons and got a new investigator. He's a 6'10" Samoan, and he probably weighs 400 lbs. Moral of the story, he's huge. Also he used to live in Santa Fe and even in the same apartment complex :) funny how that works out.
Oh, also some news from Cloudcroft. They took the missionaries out of Cloudcroft....which I mean they needed to do, but it's still a little sad that it' gone after all of the work that was put into it. But coincidentally the Jeep is in a neighboring area :)
I think that's about all that has happened this week, but here's a cool story before the blog ends:
So
this week we had a day when all of our appointments are falling
through... and we couldn't figure out what was going on. But we felt
like we should go and stop by a less-active youth in our ward. He let us in, and we shared the Restoration with him. As we shared the
first vision, he felt the Spirit and told us that he was wanting to
go on a mission. :) So that was pretty cool!
:)
Anywho, until next week
