Week Two.... My Speeder is a Bicycle.... :D

Hello Friends and Family!

Things have been super great here in Albuquerque! I hope that everything is going well with all of yous! And if not, feel free to write me and angstily gripe to me about how your life sucks at either:

My Apartment by mail:
Elder Jacob Guymon
701 Stephen Moody Apt. Number 1332
Albuquerque, NM 87123

or via the internet:

But really, all sarcasm aside, I would love to hear from all of you! And if not some heads may be rolling... :D muahaha

In all seriousity things are going so good here! The people here are so interesting (in a good way... well sometimes in a bad way too :D) There is so much diversity here and people are super open about talking about their religious beliefs! It's surprising when you start talking to a person about how our message of Jesus Christ can change lives, and they actually seem genuinely interested about how they can come closer to Him!
I have been also really impressed at how many little miracles have happened out here. For example, we were going through a list of some Potential Investigators (people who have shown interest in learning more about the church), and we were stopping from house to house to try to see if anybody would be interested in learning more about us. We were out for about an hour and either they weren't home or they politely declined. When we were about to head home, we got the impression to try one last house. And when we went to the house, the person that we were looking for wasn't home, but her 21-year-old son was. As we talked with him about why we were there, he seemed to have a lot of genuine questions about the nature of God and just kind of where we fit into the equation. As our doorstep conversation progressed, we taught him about the Restoration and about the Book of Mormon! He seems really interested, and we will see him later this week! Coincidence? I think not.

Things are going awesome here though! Elder Jewett and I are getting to know each other more and more every day! Part of me still misses home, but I have never been happier!
